Our Story & Our New Northbrook Studio
Studio Soo is a fine art photography and video studio founded by Korean-American artist Soohyun Kim. Formerly known as gugwa, we continue to offer timeless wedding collections, family portraits, headshots, self portraits, and on-location event coverage through Studio Soo's signature artistic lens.
In 2025, we relocated to Northbrook, IL, into a private studio space designed for comfort, privacy, and a premium experience. From maternity and milestone portraits to corporate events and weddings, we proudly serve the greater Chicagoland area with museum-quality imagery and attentive, white-glove service.
As the leading experts in the Midwest for Korean pre-wedding "Rehearsal" photos, we offer a deeply artistic and culturally authentic experience.
